ARDLETHAN comes alive when their Art & Music Festival is held every spring.

Usually a sleepy little town of around 300 residents in central New South Wales, Ardlethan bustles with activity as the locals join the incoming national visitors to experience the delights that the Festival has to offer;

Welcome to the 2011 Ardlethan Art And Music Festival.

Saturday 8th October

Our renowned formal ball, this year located in the main street Memorial Hall, we have the best small town entertainment in the Riverina, or possibly country NSW.

This years music supplied by the Big Ol Bus Band, check them out at www.thebigolbusband.com, a huge band in a small town, where else can you get this?

A 3 course gourmet meal, bar facilities, complimentary wine.  Very limited seats.  $80 per person, tables of 10 available.

The big weekend, arts, music, and more 21-23 Oct

Travel over for our main weekend, this year in our beautiful main street and parks.  Spend the whole weekend, or just a day visit, but don’t miss it!

Accommodation is available at nearby pubs and our motel.  Caravan park facilities available. or free camp as you prefer.

Just make sure you check out the town that lays claim to the home of the kelpie dog, the largest open cut tin mine in the southern hemisphere, and the area where the anthrax virus vaccine was discovered.....not to mention the great weekend of our art and music festival.  Look what we have to offer--

Friday evening 21st

Art display opening in the Memorial Hall main street.  Enjoy complimentary wine and snacks, meet and greet the artists, be entertained by the easy listening music of Leather and Lace Duo
Peruse local and regional art exhibitors works, with the opportunity to purchase whatever takes your fancy.
$5 pp entry at the door.  Contact Dianne for info 69782 055 during business hours.

Sat 22nd all day

The Memorial Hall reopens for art exhibitions, also local photographic history, sculptures, and various crafts. Lunch and afternoon tea available in hall. Gold coin entry appreciated.

Lions park markets, opposite the hall.  Many stallholders with a huge range of merchandise.  BBQ lunch available near the rotunda, all in the shady environs of the park and playground for the kids. For market info call Janice 6978 2396

Sat 22nd afternoon

Bring your chairs and relax, free music supplied all arvo.  In the marquee behind the kelpie dog.
Check out acclaimed soloist Mark Corey.  A highly sought after musician from the east coast. his wide genre selections will be sure to please any age group.
Mark will be supported by several up and coming local singers throughout the afternoon, including Georgia Beard, Claire Crighton, Amanda Long, Amanda Quade and Olivia McDermott, donations toward Ardlethan Progress Association appreciated.

Sat 22nd evening

Don’t let the day end, visit our local London Hotel, or Ardlethan Bowling Club.  Enjoy dinner from their bistros, or maybe just liquid refreshments.  Both will be supplying live musical entertainment in a family friendly atmosphere.  We aim to keep you socializing well into the night.
Or if you must leave early, please call in at nearby towns on the way home and enjoy the spoils of country hospitality.

Sun 23rd morning

Our local community churches will perform a morning service in the Lions Park rotunda.  Bring your chairs, and maybe your singing voices.

The Memorial Hall will reopen for art exhibitions.


The Ardlethan Community Progress Association hopes you enjoy a great family friendly weekend. Please take the time to wander around the local area, and support our local business houses.  All small communities struggle to keep town services, and we hope to help support Ardlethan with this festival.  All monies raised will be distributed throughout our town.
